Description

You will work on card payment processing, bridging business/system knowledge with test experience. The project involves supporting a vendor developing a new system and improving existing transaction handling processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and prepare test conditions for the vendor developing the new system
• Analyze existing workflows related to card transaction processing
• Map, organize, and simplify card codes and processes (currently 1000+)
• Analyze transaction message flows and dependencies between process elements
• Collaborate with the system vendor to clarify business and system requirements
• Verify correct handling of card transactions, including acquiring processes and merchant settlement

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, ideally combined with test experience
• Practical business knowledge of card payments
• Knowledge of ISO 8583 and transaction message structures
• Knowledge of PC codes and MTI (Message Type Indicator) and their use in card processes
• Understanding of message flows in card transaction processing
• Knowledge of acquiring processes and merchant settlement
• Ability to analyze and map processes and translate business requirements into test conditions
• Ability to work with system vendors and technical teams
