Description

Lead architectural delivery for enterprise projects on the Pega platform, including building and maintaining robust application components and end-to-end case lifecycles with integrations.

Ensure adherence to Pega guardrails and best practices while collaborating with Business Architects, QA, and DevOps.

Mentor developers, support solution architecture and planning activities, and perform thorough code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership, oversee technical direction, and support parallel delivery streams across enterprise projects.

• Design, build, and maintain robust application components on the Pega platform.

• Implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including data models, business logic, user interfaces, and REST/SOAP integrations.

• Ensure full adherence to Pega guardrails, platform design patterns, and engineering best practices.

• Participate in solution architecture design, effort estimations, and backlog refinement sessions.

• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level developers on the team.

• Collaborate closely with Business Architects, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists to streamline delivery.

Requirements

• Active Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA) or Senior System Architect (SSA) certification.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Pega application design and development.

• Deep practical knowledge of Pega 8.x, including case types, flows, Cosmos UI, rules management, and data pages.

• Strong expertise leveraging Pegasystems Constellation and Blueprint for scalable integration and UI solutions.

• Strong background in system integrations using REST, SOAP, and file-based interfaces.

• Solid experience operating in Agile delivery environments and driving guardrail compliance.

• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level minimum).

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and UI framework.

• German language proficiency.
