Description

You will design and develop solutions for EPC and 5G Core, supporting new projects and network growth in Poland. This is not a role limited to maintaining existing systems: you will take part in technical delivery, service integration, and ongoing architecture development. You will work closely with experienced Packet Core experts in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions in the EPC and 5G Core domains
• Lead the technical execution of projects related to development and maintenance of packet network platforms
• Analyze internal customer needs and translate them into technical concepts and concrete network solutions
• Implement new services and integrate them with the telecom network and IT systems
• Develop architecture including GGSN, SGW, PGW, and 5G SA components: AMF, SMF, UPF
• Collaborate on PCRF/PCF and OCS/CHF solutions
• Plan capacity, develop platforms, and participate in budget planning
• Work with technology vendors and experts/operators within the Deutsche Telekom group
• Monitor technology evolution and identify solutions worth adopting in the network

Requirements

• Degree in telecommunications, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mobile networks, Packet Core, or a similar position
• Practical knowledge of EPC architecture: GGSN / SGW / PGW
• Understanding of 5G SA architecture: AMF / SMF / UPF
• Knowledge of PCRF / PCF and OCS / CHF
• Very good knowledge of IP networking concepts
• Knowledge of virtualization and container environments
• English allowing smooth work in an international environment
