Description

Develop and maintain native Android mobile applications. Implement features using Kotlin and Android Jetpack, integrate the app with external services and APIs, add local data storage, build Material Design user interfaces, and create unit and UI tests. Diagnose and resolve issues affecting app behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native mobile apps for Android

• Implement functionality using Kotlin and Android Jetpack libraries

• Integrate with external services and APIs

• Implement mechanisms for local data storage

• Create user interfaces in line with Material Design principles

• Prepare and run unit tests and UI tests

• Diagnose and fix application runtime problems

Requirements

• At least 2 years of object-oriented programming experience with Kotlin (certificates or portfolio showing work delivered in at least 2 projects)

• Practical knowledge of: Android Jetpack, Dagger Hilt, Retrofit or Volley, Material Design, Room, REST APIs, Mockito, Espresso UI tests, MVVM architecture

• Knowledge of Git

• Practical knowledge of Android Studio and/or IntelliJ IDEA

• Practical knowledge of Android Debug Bridge (ADB)

• Knowledge of Docker for application containerization
