Quick Facts

Work mode: Remote, with an in-office visit in Warsaw once every two weeks (one-day visit).

Rate: Mid 115–140 PLN/hour; Senior 145–160 PLN/hour.

Role: Mid/Senior Android Developer for a project in the financial sector.

Description

Develop and maintain UI components in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose, and integrate them with existing Android Views/XML-based screens. Contribute to shared UI architecture and component libraries, while supporting a gradual migration to modern solutions and ensuring code quality, testability, and backward compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Integrate new components with existing Android Views screens.
• Participate in evolving shared UI architecture and UI component libraries.
• Support gradual application migration to modern solutions.
• Ensure code quality, maintain testability, and preserve compatibility of existing features.
• Collaborate with other developers and teams responsible for app development.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial Android application development.
• Very strong Kotlin knowledge.
• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose and creating reusable UI components.
• Knowledge of classic Android UI (Views, XML), including experience working with apps using both approaches.
• Good knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
• Knowledge of Gradle and working with multi-module projects.
• Understanding of Android application architecture, including MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
• Experience integrating new functionality into existing code while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Knowledge of Git and experience with team work and code review.
