Description

You will develop and maintain UI components for a large Android app used across international markets. The work centers on building a shared UI architecture and reusable components, while gradually migrating existing Android Views/XML implementations to Jetpack Compose with backward compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain UI components using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Create and extend reusable user interface components

• Integrate new components into existing screens built with Views/XML

• Contribute to the shared UI architecture and component library

• Support gradual migration to Jetpack Compose-based solutions

• Integrate new functionality into the existing application architecture

• Ensure code quality, testability, and compatibility of existing features

• Collaborate with other developers and teams; participate in code reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in Android development

• Very good Kotlin knowledge

• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose

• Experience building reusable UI components

• Knowledge of classic Android UI (Views, XML) and experience working with apps using both approaches

• Good knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow

• Experience with Dependency Injection (Hilt / Dagger)

• Knowledge of Gradle and experience with multi-module projects

• Knowledge of Android app architecture, including MVVM and Clean Architecture principles

• Experience integrating new features into existing code and maintaining backward compatibility

• Git knowledge and code review experience
