Description

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist to ensure product and supplier data is accurate and current in internal systems. You will join a team responsible for product onboarding to sales, including pricing and promotional mechanisms, and you will work with suppliers and internal teams to keep purchasing and sales process data complete, consistent, and available on time. The goal of the role is to create and update data, control its quality, and explain discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Create and update product and supplier master data by checking completeness of received information and entering new records in internal systems according to standards.
• Update product, supplier, purchasing price, and logistics purchase conditions; ensure system data matches the agreed arrangements.
• Control data quality: verify correctness of requested changes, identify missing items and discrepancies, explain and correct them in cooperation with the right teams.
• Support sales and promotional processes by handling relevant system data and parameters related to pricing and promotional mechanisms.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to obtain and clarify information needed for maintaining correct master data (including sales, purchasing, logistics, digital, pricing policy, and the Central Master Data team).
• Reporting and analysis: prepare control reports and analyses, indicate areas requiring correction, and communicate implemented changes to relevant teams.

Requirements

• First experience working with data (e.g., Master Data, purchasing, logistics, or sales support); retail experience is a plus.
• First experience working with systems and tools: ERP (e.g., SAP) and data reporting/analysis tools (e.g., Business Objects).
• Detail-oriented and careful approach to ensure data quality, even in repetitive tasks.
• Responsibility and commitment: meet deadlines and escalate issues that may affect delivery.
• Efficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (compare, organize, and verify data); ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Analytical thinking: compare information across sources, identify discrepancy causes, and draw conclusions.
• Good organization and communication: prioritize tasks, clearly communicate information, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• English at least B1.
