Description

Design and govern modern analytics and data warehouse architectures, including hybrid (on-premise + cloud) solutions. Support cloud transformation integrating Databricks with an existing Oracle and SAS-based data warehouse, and optimize end-to-end data flows. Drive DataOps adoption and automation for HD/BI delivery using CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code, while mentoring Data & BI teams.

Responsibilities

• Design modern analytics systems and data warehouse architectures

• Collaborate with domain and business architects and project teams

• Define architectural patterns and technology standards

• Support Databricks integration with an Oracle and SAS-based data warehouse

• Design and optimize data flows

• Develop DataOps processes and automate solution delivery

• Use CI/CD, GitOps, and AI tooling to support software development

• Provide technology guidance and mentor Data & BI teams

• Ensure architectural consistency of delivered solutions

Requirements

Must have

• Experience designing Data & Analytics architectures

• Ability to define architectural standards and mentor teams

• Experience designing hybrid architectures (on-premise + cloud)

• Very good knowledge of data modeling and data flow design

• Experience implementing SDLC processes for analytics solutions

• Knowledge of DataOps practices

• Experience automating HD/BI production and maintenance processes

• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Lineage

• Experience with Oracle data platforms

• Practical knowledge of UML and BPMN

• Experience designing solutions based on Microsoft Azure components

• Knowledge of AI tools supporting software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
