Description

Design, develop, and optimize low-latency C++ components for exchange connectivity and an algorithmic trading platform serving major European venues. Apply software engineering practices across requirements analysis, feature development, automated testing, continuous deployment, and production quality and compliance. Build observability, provide L3 support for incidents, and use AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to automate repetitive workflows via MCP-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize low-latency C++ components for exchange connectivity and algorithmic trading

• Analyze trading requirements, deliver new features, and maintain automated testing and continuous deployment

• Ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance through functional and non-functional requirements

• Add observability, monitor production health, resolve incidents (L3), and remediate root causes

• Use AI tooling (GitHub Copilot and similar) and help automate workflows using MCP-based integrations

Requirements

• Modern C++ experience (C++14/17 minimum; C++20 a plus) with strong multithreading, memory management, data structures, and algorithmic complexity

• Solid Linux development experience (gdb, perf, strace, shell scripting)

• Experience writing and maintaining C++ unit tests and using test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework

• Working knowledge of Python for test automation, tooling, or scripting

• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Ansible for configuration management

• Experience providing L3 production support for mission-critical systems, including incident triage and root-cause analysis

• Comfort using AI coding assistants (Copilot or similar) as part of a daily development workflow
