Description

You will join a global team modernizing existing client connectivity trading platforms (A4, A4FIX, FIXAJ, BlueDirect) as part of a multi-year modernization initiative. The work focuses on architectural problem-solving, performance and throughput improvements, client-driven functionality, and regulatory compliance, while moving toward a DevOps ecosystem with CI/CD. Most of your time will be direct development (coding, design, configuration management, releases, and post-implementation support).

Responsibilities

• Perform 80–90% development work: coding, design, configuration management, releases, and post-implementation support
• Participate in architectural decisions for complex technical problems
• Modernize client connectivity trading platforms (A4, A4FIX, FIXAJ, BlueDirect)
• Deliver technical projects to enhance system performance and throughput
• Add new client-requested functionality and support regulatory compliance
• Drive team transformation toward a DevOps ecosystem using CI/CD
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders across multiple regions
• Provide post-implementation support and ensure system reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on C++ experience (multi-threading, STL, templates)
• Proficiency with data structures, casting, pointers, socket programming, and algorithms
• Financial development experience: order management systems, FIX protocol, order-state handling
• Programming experience in Linux/Unix environments
• Expertise building high-performance, high-availability, low-latency transaction-oriented distributed systems with high throughput and capacity
• Knowledge of equity trading environment (ideally multi-regional capacity)
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex topics to IT and business stakeholders
