Description

Lead the team responsible for stable operation, availability, and security of non-clinical hospital information systems. Participate in strategic digitization and public tender projects, including modernization such as an SAP ECC 6.0 upgrade/replacement. Coordinate with vendors, internal units, and IT architecture while ensuring documentation, SLAs, licenses, audit readiness, and compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the non-clinical systems administration team

• Ensure operation, availability, and security of key systems: SAP ECC 6.0 (finance, logistics, warehouses, orders, assets), document management/spisová služba, receivables management, VEMA (HR, attendance, payroll), Falcon, Winguard, AIMON, and other energy management/monitoring/regulation tools, plus asset and facility management and supporting processes for clinical needs (e.g., sterilization)

• Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and IT architecture

• Prepare technical specifications for public procurement

• Manage digitization, integration, and modernization projects

• Oversee documentation, SLAs, licenses, audit readiness, and legislative compliance (GDPR, NIS2, cybersecurity)

• Collaborate with the Cybersecurity Manager

• Plan investments and budget

• Provide technical support and methodological guidance to the team and users

• Handle higher-level incidents and support user troubleshooting

Requirements

• Completed secondary school or university education; biomedical engineering education is an advantage

• Ability to lead a team and manage projects

• Ability to formulate technical requirements and assess vendor offers

• Analytical thinking, communication skills, reliability

• Basic knowledge of computer networks (VLAN, VPN, Microsoft domain)

• Basic knowledge of server OS (Windows; Linux is an advantage)
