Description

You’ll learn SAP S/4HANA Utilities development from the ground up with targeted onboarding, training, and experienced colleagues. From early on, you’ll contribute to real development tasks, understand energy industry processes, and apply modern approaches like AI-assisted tools and automated testing. The role combines ABAP work, collaboration with business teams, and support across releases and deployment/operations process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Onboard into ABAP development and the SAP S/4HANA Utilities landscape with support from senior colleagues
• Develop and extend SAP applications and interfaces; gradually take on own topics
• Assist with analysis and troubleshooting, including debugging and data analysis
• Create and automate tests and help build test management
• Use AI-assisted tools for development, testing, and documentation aligned with information security requirements
• Work with business departments to capture requirements and implement technical solutions
• Support releases and further development of deployment and operations processes

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable program (or near completion)
• First programming experience (e.g., from studies, practical semester, or working student role); programming language is not critical
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Interest in SAP and ABAP (initial SAP knowledge is beneficial but not required)
• Very good German language skills
• Analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and openness to new technologies such as AI
• Teamwork and strong communication skills
