• Focus: IT infrastructure administration (storage, network, firewall), clients, directory services, MDM, virtualization troubleshooting, and IT support

Description

You will administer and further develop the IT infrastructure, with emphasis on storage, networking, and firewalls, and support Windows and Apple clients. You will manage Active Directory/LDAP/DNS and GPOs, operate MDM (Baramundi/JAMF), and troubleshoot virtual desktop environments such as Citrix. The role also includes 1st- and 2nd-level support for staff and students plus training and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Administer IT infrastructure (storage, networking, firewall)

• Administer Windows and Apple clients

• Maintain Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, and GPOs

• Administer Windows and Linux server environments

• Manage and develop MDM infrastructure (e.g., Baramundi/JAMF)

• Troubleshoot and analyze issues in virtual desktop environments (Citrix)

• Provide and advise staff and students on IT questions/problems (1st and 2nd level support)

• Procure, install, and configure hardware (clients, peripherals, and potentially server components)

• Plan and conduct IT trainings and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Completed IT training or degree or comparable qualification

• Solid experience in administering the described systems

• Knowledge of DNS, GPOs, and network fundamentals

• Experience with MDM solutions, preferably Baramundi and/or JAMF

• Experience with virtualization and VDI environments (e.g., Citrix) is an advantage

• Structured, independent work approach and high service orientation
