Description

You will provide technical care for four company web catalogs built on a common codebase. The work includes catalog maintenance, code review (including AI-generated code), database/query and search optimization, performance improvements, and testing changes with ongoing documentation. AI is part of the daily workflow—you must be able to assess AI suggestions, find mistakes, and verify the final solution works.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the catalogs: fixes and functional adjustments
• Perform thorough code review for both AI-generated code and your own implementations
• Optimize database queries, search, and application performance
• Test changes before handoff and continuously maintain documentation

Requirements

• Experience with PHP 8 and the Nette Framework (including Latte and Tracy)
• MySQL/MariaDB experience, including query optimization and full-text search
• Caching and performance tuning for web applications
• Docker and Linux knowledge for deployment and reading logs
• Git experience and practical experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex)
• Availability to start in January 2027
• Ability to collaborate remotely as an external contractor (IČO)
