• Night shifts: 7 pm–7 am; 12-hour shifts; 7 days on / 7 days off
• 8–10 inpatient patients per shift

• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) required — first assist on cases
• In-house call at 1:3 ratio — ~20-minute response time
• OR emergency call coverage may be required on weekends

Description

Work as a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner providing inpatient night coverage for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patients in Indiana. Perform ICU and stepdown rounding and act as first assist on EVH (endoscopic vein harvesting) cases. The role is ongoing with 12-hour night shifts on a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.
