Description

Own integration, validation (including validation environment), and debugging of system software across multiple server architecture domains (SoC FWs, networking, attestation, BMC, Rack Manager, etc.). Define and drive networking architectures and validation for AI training and inference platforms across scale-up and scale-out deployments, partnering across architecture, silicon, firmware, and software teams from pre-silicon through datacenter deployment. Improve test coverage and release/test automation efficiency, and create automated dashboards to reflect system health and quality for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system software integration and validation and perform platform-level debugging and troubleshooting

• Drive networking validation architectures for AI training/inference platforms

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver validated networking solutions from pre-si to datacenter

• Triage, resolve, and systematically close issues to support subsequent releases

• Collaborate on day-to-day operations and long-term roadmap improvements by feeding back learnings

• Explore and deploy methods to improve test coverage and FW release efficiency

• Build dashboards for continuous system health and quality visibility

Requirements

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ years technical engineering experience, or Master’s with 4+ years, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years, or equivalent experience

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years

• Ability to access export-controlled information; provide proof of country of citizenship or US residency/protected status for eligibility

Benefits

• Typical base pay range (U.S.): USD $119,800–$234,700 per year (location-adjusted ranges apply, including San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro)
