Description

Faculty physician role focused on gastrointestinal (GI) motility disorders. Join a multidisciplinary motility program with access to advanced diagnostic testing and a regional referral base, with opportunity to build and expand the service line. Responsibilities include inpatient consults/call rotation, an outpatient motility clinic, motility diagnostic interpretation/performance, and teaching/mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultation and participate in an equitable call rotation
• Run an outpatient motility-focused clinic
• Perform outpatient endoscopy as clinically appropriate
• Interpret and perform GI motility diagnostic studies
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and GI fellows
• Support educational leadership, program development, and research

Requirements

• BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship-trained motility expertise preferred; provide certificate and/or letters of recommendation documenting expertise
• Experience managing complex gut-brain interaction disorders (esophageal, gastric, intestinal, anorectal)
• Ability to interpret and perform motility diagnostic studies
• J-1 or H-1B visa acceptance
