Description

Join a consumer-focused technology team on a contract basis to build scalable marketing infrastructure. You will develop reusable templates, frameworks, and processes so the broader team can communicate product value clearly to diverse customer segments. This is a high-visibility, strategy-forward role that requires turning customer and competitive insights into go-to-market recommendations and executive-ready materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement scalable product marketing processes, frameworks, and reusable templates
  • Create, maintain, and evolve audience value proposition templates for distinct customer segments
  • Translate product and audience needs into clear, compelling positioning and messaging
  • Analyze customer segments, purchase triggers, competitive trends, engagement data, and customer journeys to generate actionable insights
  • Convert research findings into go-to-market recommendations, positioning strategies, packaging guidance, and customer journey frameworks
  • Produce executive-ready presentations, strategic briefs, and written recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Partner across product, marketing, analytics, and partner organizations to align priorities and dependencies
  • Lead projects independently from early strategy through stakeholder alignment and execution
  • Coordinate vendors, agency partners, and internal contributors while tracking milestones, deliverables, and risks
  • Improve existing marketing workflows and establish more effective ways of working
  • Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research synthesis, pressure-test narratives, and improve strategy and campaign deliverable quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct experience in product marketing, audience or market insights, growth strategy, business planning, strategy consulting, or related discipline
  • Experience as a Product Marketing Manager or in a highly comparable product marketing role (general marketing experience alone is not sufficient)
  • Experience supporting consumer-focused technology products or services
  • Experience building reusable templates, processes, and frameworks (not only executing established programs)
  • Experience developing product positioning, value propositions, customer journeys, and go-to-market strategies grounded in customer and competitive research
  • Experience managing complex marketing workstreams across stakeholders, vendors, and contributors with milestones and deliverables
  • Product marketing and go-to-market strategy expertise (positioning, messaging, audience strategy, campaign briefs, launch planning)
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative market/customer/competitive research into actionable recommendations
  • Audience segmentation and customer journey development for consumer technology products or services
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across product, marketing, analytics, and partner teams
  • Independent program management, including milestone tracking and risk identification
  • Process design and systems thinking to build scalable frameworks and templates
  • Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level presentations and strategic documents
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and taking ownership of loosely defined workstreams
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools and workflows (strong plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience prioritized

Benefits

  • Medical, dental & vision
  • Hospital plans
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan (pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions)
  • Life insurance (company-paid basic Life and AD&D; voluntary coverage)
  • Company-paid short- and long-term disability
  • HSA & DCFSA spending accounts
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Time off/leave including PTO and paid family/parental leave
