Description

You will work in an agile team developing a mission data validation environment for Eurofighter Electronic Warfare. The environment is built from a partial replica of aircraft avionics, re-hosted aircraft software, and software models, then integrated into the MaTE modelling and test environment. The role covers requirements analysis, system integration, documentation, and qualification, with close collaboration across engineering and customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze mission data requirements and operational requirements for electronic warfare mission data validation

• Define requirements for simulated aircraft components and submodules used in the mission data validation environment

• Integrate re-hosted and simulated software components into MaTE

• Support the design and development of the overall system, including documentation and qualification

• Collaborate with customers, colleagues, and other aircraft development areas

Requirements

• Technical degree in a related field (e.g., computer science or aeronautical engineering) or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of the systems/software engineering lifecycle and at least 5 years across all phases

• Knowledge of defense avionics

• Practical re-hosting experience for embedded software (advantage)

• Simulation and modelling experience (desired)

• MaTE experience (plus)

• Knowledge of project control tools (Jira, Confluence)

• Requirements management with IBM DOORS

• Python programming

• Version control with Git

• Business-fluent English and German
