Quick Facts

• Setting: Women’s health clinic (adolescence through adulthood; age 6 months and up)

• Coverage hours: Mon–Fri 7:00 am–7:30 pm; Sat 7:30 am–5:30 pm — 5 days, 40 hrs/week

• Alternative schedule: Option for 4 x 9-hour shifts with a weekday off

• Shift requirements: At least one evening shift/week and one Saturday/month

• Patient volume: 20–24 patients per 8-hour shift; 25–27 per 9-hour shift

• Clinical focus: IUD and Nexplanon placements/removals; prenatal care up to 32 weeks

• Patient population: Primarily Spanish-speaking, farm-working patients
