Description

Women’s health locum tenens PA role in a rural California setting with structured shifts and a daily mix of scheduled and walk-in patients. Care spans adolescence through adulthood, serving a primarily Spanish-speaking farm-working family population. Emphasis is on managing the caseload efficiently while avoiding back-to-back complex visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide women’s health clinical care for adolescence through adulthood

• Manage a daily caseload including walk-in patients

• Work within the scheduling structure designed to prevent back-to-back complex visits

Requirements

• PA licensure to practice in California

• Experience/comfort with women’s health (OB/GYN-focused care)

• Ability to manage 20–27 patients per day depending on shift length

• Ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients (or equivalent experience)

• Readiness to practice in a rural community clinic environment
