Description

Lead and grow an engineering team building reconnaissance, data, and attack-graph capabilities for Microsoft Red Team Intelligence. Own the technical strategy, roadmap, and execution for the intelligence pillar, delivering AI-driven services that leverage LLMs and autonomous agents to identify critical attack paths at scale. Work with red team operators, security researchers, data scientists, and global engineering partners to turn intelligence into actionable packages for human and agentic operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and coach a team of software engineers; build an inclusive, high-trust culture

• Own technical strategy, roadmap, and execution for the intelligence pillar; expand into new offensive capability areas

• Drive design and delivery of AI-driven services that use LLMs and autonomous agents to find critical attack paths across Microsoft at scale

• Deliver intelligence packages and product experiences that help operators rapidly understand targets, plan operations, and choose highest-impact techniques

• Provide engineering leadership across the broader AI-driven adversary emulation platform; partner on architecture and shared components

• Align investments with highest-impact attack paths by partnering with operators, researchers, product management, and engineering leaders globally

• Hire, develop, and retain engineers; set expectations, provide candid feedback, and grow senior technical leaders

• Drive engineering excellence: design reviews, code quality, secure development practices, live-site health, and continuous improvement

• Ensure security improvements through authentic red team attacks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding (C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python) OR equivalent experience

• Ability to pass Microsoft security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check (upon hire/transfer and every two years)
