Description

You will develop hardware-near embedded software on resource-constrained targets such as AVR and Cortex-M. The role includes analyzing requirements with stakeholders, building and evolving software components and function blocks, and ensuring software quality through reviews and tests. You will document progress in Confluence and Jira and support customer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Hardware-near embedded software development for resource-limited targets (e.g., AVR, Cortex-M)

• Develop customer applications in control and regulation technology

• Analyze requirements in direct contact with stakeholders

• New development and further development of components and function blocks

• Work in small module and project teams; coordinate and deliver work packages

• Perform independent tasks within the team context

• Document project progress in Confluence and Jira

• Ensure software quality via reviews and tests

• Support creation of customer documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience

• Strong communication skills with customers and internal teams

• Very good C skills (with C++ preferred)

• Basic circuit engineering knowledge and ability to read/analyze circuit diagrams (advantage)

• Team spirit, willingness to share knowledge, and take responsibility

• Independent, engaged, and structured working style

• Very good German or English proficiency
