Description

The role focuses on designing and implementing complex low-level embedded drivers in modern C++ (C++11+), including tests and documentation, and integrating existing supplier drivers. You will also review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, test, and documentation for embedded components. Work is primarily remote, with some onsite time for collaboration depending on project circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex low-level drivers in modern C++ (C++11+), including tests and documentation
• Integrate existing drivers from suppliers
• Review and approve requirements, architecture, design, code, test, and documentation

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ for embedded firmware and drivers (15+ years of experience)
• Knowledge of low-level buses: I2C, SPI, MDIO, CAN, LIN, Ethernet
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded OS concepts
• Experience in multi-core development
• Experience with gtest and gmock for C++ unit tests
