Description

Join a team building and evolving backend capabilities for customer onboarding, payments, identity verification, and CRM integrations within a modern financial platform. You will design and develop Java/Spring Boot backend services and microservices, integrate with Microsoft Dynamics 365/Dataverse, implement KYC and payment provider integrations, and connect authentication/identity flows using AWS Cognito. Work with architects and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions in a regulated environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse

• Develop and maintain integrations with payment providers and KYC solutions

• Integrate authentication and identity services based on AWS Cognito

• Design scalable APIs and microservices

• Ensure security, reliability, and compliance of business-critical systems

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams

• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions

• Mentor less experienced engineers and share engineering best practices

• Use AI tools to improve software delivery and engineering productivity

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot

• Experience designing and developing microservices

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Dataverse integrations

• Experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management solutions

• Experience integrating external payment providers

• Understanding of KYC, onboarding, or customer verification processes

• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns

• Good communication skills and fluent English

• Engineering degree (highly valued)
