Description

Work on the development and maintenance of data processing solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will design and build batch and streaming data pipelines using tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Dataflow, Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Storage. You will also develop Python and SQL components, automate deployments with Terraform and GitHub, and ensure testing and monitoring while collaborating with analytics and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GCP-based data processing solutions

• Design and build batch/streaming data pipelines (BigQuery, dbt, Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, Cloud Storage)

• Build Python and SQL components

• Design, build, and optimize data structures for analytics and reporting

• Automate deployment processes with Terraform and GitHub repositories

• Test, monitor, and maintain the delivered solutions

• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in discussions on platform architecture, code quality, and the data platform’s long-term direction

• Share knowledge and co-create best technological practices

Requirements

• Experience designing and building cloud solutions on GCP

• Practical knowledge of the architecture, design, and implementation of data processing systems and integrations

• GCP experience, especially with Dataproc, Composer/Airflow, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow

• Very strong Python and SQL skills

• Experience with GitHub/source code repositories

• Knowledge of Google Artifact Registry and application artifact management

• Team collaboration skills and ability to adapt to client environment and standards

• Ability to deliver according to accepted technical and architectural standards

• Independence, responsibility for assigned tasks, and proactive problem-solving
