Description

You will design and build advanced Oracle database structures and functionalities, while developing Python components that work with Oracle. The role focuses on SQL/PLSQL performance optimization, batch processing for large data volumes, automated testing, and maintaining high-quality code and technical documentation. You’ll also support the architect in designing the overall system and ensuring database consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design and create database structures and Oracle functionalities

• Optimize SQL and PL/SQL queries (analyze execution plans and resolve performance issues)

• Develop Python components that collaborate with Oracle

• Support the architect with system design and maintain database consistency

• Maintain high code quality and follow programming standards

• Create and supervise automated tests

• Create and update technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of commercial PL/SQL development experience

• Very good knowledge of Oracle Database: packages, procedures, triggers, indexes, partitioning, statistics

• Skills in processing XML and JSON data formats in Oracle

• Experience building algorithms for large data volumes and batch processes

• Commercial Python programming experience

• Knowledge of libraries such as SQLAlchemy, oracledb, FastAPI, Pydantic, pytest

• Knowledge of secure programming principles

• Practical experience with Git version control
