Description

You’ll build production-grade web apps using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React or Svelte, with headless CMS integration (Prismic). The role covers interactive UI work (animations/effects), cross-browser/device compatibility, technical SEO (CSR vs SSR), and delivery with deployment pipelines and CI/CD. Some backend/API capability is expected so you can implement lightweight backend functionality when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production frontend web applications

• Integrate headless CMS (Prismic) into the frontend

• Implement animations, scroll-based storytelling, and rich UI effects

• Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility

• Apply technical SEO practices and choose appropriate rendering approach (CSR/SSR)

• Manage code with Git branching/merging

• Support deployment workflows on Vercel and participate in CI/CD

• Contribute basic backend/API components when required

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial frontend development experience

• Strong markup and JavaScript/TypeScript skills

• Proven production experience with React or Svelte

• Experience working with headless CMS, specifically Prismic

• Docker experience (know when and why to use it; able to run the app reasonably)

• Vercel deployment experience with build/deployment workflow

• Ability to write modern custom SASS; not limited to Tailwind/Bootstrap

• Knowledge of cross-browser/device compatibility pitfalls and fixes

• Git-based development with multiple branches

• Technical SEO experience, including CSR vs SSR implications

• Backend/API understanding; ability to implement a simple backend part without a framework

• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and CI/CD

• Clean, maintainable code following KISS principles

• Creative approach to layout and scrollytelling; ability to implement non-trivial ideas
