Description

You will analyze change requests for a core banking system in line with IT strategy and architecture, assess impacts on integrations and surrounding systems, and create standardized documentation for solutions. You’ll collaborate with developers, architects, and business/IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technically feasible changes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform IT analysis of change requests for the core banking system in accordance with IT strategy and architecture

  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on integrations and related systems

  • Create standardized documentation for changes and their solutions

  • Work in a smaller team of experienced developers and across IT/IS

  • Communicate daily with colleagues across IT and business parts of the bank

  • Consult and support business analysts and other solution team members

  • Collaborate with IT architects and IT Governance on developing and evolving an Enterprise model

  • Identify suitable, long-term maintainable solutions considering the bank’s overall architecture

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as an IT analyst or a similar technical-analytical role

  • University degree in IT or related field (advantage)

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, especially PL/SQL

  • Basic orientation in system integration technologies: SOAP, REST, OpenAPI

  • Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect; knowledge of UML and ArchiMate

  • Knowledge of banking products or prior experience in a banking environment (big advantage)

  • Analytical and logical thinking; ability to quickly get oriented in complex topics

  • Willingness to learn and flexibility to react to changing requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with both business and technical IT colleagues

  • Ability to translate business requirements into a clear, technically implementable solution
