Description

Develop and maintain backend modules, services, and APIs for warehousing and ticketing solutions in the sport and leisure domain. You will optimize database structures and queries for performance, stability, and data security, modernize existing software components, and turn new customer requirements into solutions that add value for the overall system.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, develop, and implement backend modules, services, and APIs
• Maintain, optimize, and modernize existing software components in close collaboration with the development and sales teams
• Design and optimize database structures and queries with a focus on performance, stability, and data security
• Analyze new customer requirements and develop solutions with value for the overall system
• Ensure code quality through automated tests and code reviews
• Work according to the principle You build it, you run it

Requirements

• Completed IT degree or IT training (e.g., Application Development Specialist) or long-term practical experience in professional software development
• Proven backend experience with C# and .NET, ideally ASP.NET Core, including work on production-used software
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Ideally experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework
• DevOps experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, or willingness to learn
• Clean, maintainable code and German skills at least level B2
• Structured analysis of complex problems and ability to deliver pragmatic, sustainable solutions
• Enjoys collaboration and knowledge sharing; can work independently and contribute ideas
• Good technical English is a plus; not all criteria must be met—commitment, passion, and team fit are key
