Description

Build backend solutions using Java 11+, Java EE, XML integrations, and Oracle DB. Develop and maintain an in-house Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that connects SAP systems with local manufacturing process controls across multiple sites. Deliver new features in Scrum and Kanban teams while ensuring code quality through reviews, automated testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build backend solutions with Java 11+, Java EE, XML integrations, and Oracle DB
• Develop and maintain the in-house MES and integrate SAP with local manufacturing controls
• Deliver features and improvements in Scrum/Kanban teams
• Ensure code quality via code reviews, automated testing, and documentation
• Work with a modern stack including Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing Java-based applications
• Strong experience with Java 11+ and Java EE / JPA
• Hands-on experience with application servers (WebLogic; migration to OpenLiberty)
• Experience with EclipseLink, JMS, and REST
• Comfortable working with Oracle DB
• Experience with frontend or development tools such as Eclipse RCP, Angular, Kotlin, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and SonarQube
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented and analytical mindset
• Fluent English (German is a plus)
