Description

Join a high-performing neurosurgery team in Grand Rapids with a predictable 7-on/7-off hospitalist schedule and a focus on work-life balance. You will perform the full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures, provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care, and interpret advanced imaging including MRI, CT, and angiography. Academic involvement is available through teaching opportunities for trainees.

Responsibilities

• Perform cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures across the full spectrum
• Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up
• Interpret advanced neuroimaging (MRI, CT, angiography)
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, trauma teams, and other specialties
• Participate in trauma and spine call aligned to the 7-on/7-off schedule
• Deliver patient-centered, high-quality, evidence-based surgical care

Requirements

• Open to new grads
• Board certification in the specialty (or ability to achieve board certification within the board-defined timeframe)
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (must be maintained)
• Visa accepted: J-1 or H-1B
