Description

You will help develop the engineering foundations behind conversational analytics solutions that let users ask business questions in natural language and receive answers grounded in trusted data and shared definitions. The role focuses on building and maintaining Python/SQL services, data and event pipelines, agent integrations, and tooling for evaluation, observability, and deployment. You will collaborate mainly with engineers, analysts, and data owners to ensure the solutions are reliable, secure, and easy to develop.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python services, APIs, and data integrations supporting conversational analytics
• Build pipelines to collect and process agent interactions, traces, feedback, and evaluation results
• Work with SQL and NoSQL data models used by conversational analytics services
• Define, validate, test, and deploy conversational agents using repeatable, version-controlled workflows
• Integrate agents with Looker and other services via APIs or emerging standards such as MCP
• Create automated regression tests and evaluations for factual correctness, consistency, and relevance
• Improve observability and debugging for agentic workflows (model interactions, prompts, tool calls, conversation traces)
• Document technical findings and contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions

Requirements

• Good foundations in Python and SQL (studies, internships, personal projects, or commercial experience)
• Basic understanding of data pipelines, APIs, data modeling, and software development practices
• Basic understanding of—or strong interest in—LLMs and agentic AI systems
• Interest in learning how to test and monitor nondeterministic system outputs
• Structured approach to debugging problems across multiple services and data sources
• Willingness to take increasing ownership as you learn the product and its architecture
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• English at least B2
