Description

You will investigate complex technical issues from customer deployments and internal verification, identify root causes, and design software improvements that prevent recurrence. The role combines C++ development with debugging, testing/verification, and product-quality enhancements, supported by AI-assisted engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex technical issues across customer deployments and internal testing
• Perform root-cause analysis linking symptoms to underlying technical causes
• Design, implement, and verify improvements to prevent recurring issues
• Improve reliability, maintainability, stability, and observability
• Use approved AI-assisted tools for debugging, code analysis, test creation, and documentation
• Automate repetitive investigation steps to improve troubleshooting efficiency
• Contribute to software development, debugging, testing, and verification
• Collaborate across teams to resolve cross-area product issues
• Participate in architecture and design discussions based on real system behavior
• Strengthen automated testing and verification strategies
• Share knowledge, support less experienced engineers, and contribute to best practices
• Propose improvements to tools, ways of working, and development efficiency

Requirements

• Solid experience in software development using C++17 or later
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex software systems
• Good understanding of software design principles, clean code, and design patterns
• Experience with software testing, test automation, and verification methodologies
• Analytical mindset and ability to drive independent technical investigations
• Openness to using AI-assisted tools for debugging, development, and productivity
• Ownership mindset from analysis through implementation and verification
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and domains
• English proficiency (B2+, written and spoken)
