Description

You will design, build, and maintain data flows and ETL/ELT processes for a banking project. The work includes implementing transformations, validating data with quality rules, adding error-control mechanisms, and integrating data from source systems into target analytical structures while optimizing performance. You will also prepare technical tests, documentation, and support deployment of changes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines

• Implement data transformations

• Perform data validation, define quality rules, and implement error-control mechanisms

• Integrate data from source systems into target analytics structures

• Optimize query and data processing performance

• Prepare technical tests and technical documentation; support deployment of changes

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes for batch or streaming data processing

• Very strong SQL skills

• Very strong knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python)

• Knowledge of data warehouses and data lake/lakehouse

• Experience with orchestration and monitoring of data processing

• Experience optimizing queries, processing large data volumes, and ensuring data quality

• Ability to use code repositories, perform code reviews, and write tests

• Ability to create technical documentation

• Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD tools for data solutions
