Description

The Vice President serves as a senior leader and strategic consultant for healthcare and life sciences clients, leading the client service team and ensuring effective delivery of risk management and insurance services for complex healthcare organizations. The role drives client retention and satisfaction through long-term client strategy, and coordinates renewal and marketing initiatives. The VP mentors Account Executives, Account Managers, and Coordinators to strengthen a collaboration- and service-focused culture.

Responsibilities

  • Jointly lead the Healthcare & Life Sciences client service team and advance practice strategic objectives

  • Act as a senior relationship manager and consultant for complex healthcare and life sciences clients

  • Support growth, mentoring, and coaching for client service professionals

  • Drive retention, client happiness, and organic growth via proactive consultative relationship management

  • Coordinate renewal, marketing, and service strategies for key accounts with strong client outcomes

  • Partner with Producers and practice leaders to identify growth opportunities and support new initiatives

  • Maintain relationships with carrier partners, industry collaborators, and executive-level client contacts

  • Provide leadership on market trends, regulatory developments, emerging risks, and industry guidelines

  • Champion operational excellence and a customer-focused culture across the practice

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License required

  • 8+ years of commercial insurance, healthcare, life sciences, or risk management experience

  • Proven leadership managing effective client service teams

  • Consultative relationship management and strong client retention capabilities

  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare and life sciences risk management and insurance programs

  • Executive presence with outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities

  • Strong business insight, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to influence and build positive relationships across all organizational levels
