Description

Board-certified or board-eligible Pediatrics physician providing comprehensive general family practice pediatric care with a focus on wellness, preventive services, and patient-centered medicine. You will perform annual wellness exams, sports physicals, care for acute illnesses and minor injuries, manage chronic illnesses (e.g., asthma, diabetes, hypertension), and provide diagnostic services including lab work, vision/hearing testing, and blood pressure monitoring. The role also includes preventive care and personalized health screenings, well-child exams with immunizations from newborns through adolescents, seasonal allergy and flu support, mental health resources, and accurate documentation using EPIC, along with participation in peer review, quality metric improvement, and policy development.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics

• Active Medical License in Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment

• DEA certificate

• Completion of ACGME Residency in Pediatrics
