Description

Join a team building a modern, dedicated shopping experience as part of a strategic platform transformation. You will develop backend services in Java/Kotlin with Spring Boot and frontend features in React/TypeScript, working in a microservices architecture. The role also includes ensuring code quality, observability, and accessibility aligned with WCAG standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern backend services based on Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
• Design, develop, and optimize REST APIs used by the platform
• Build and develop frontend functionalities using React and TypeScript
• Work in a microservices environment to build scalable product solutions
• Ensure code quality via testing, code reviews, and optimization activities
• Build and improve technical and business monitoring/observability
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver the product roadmap
• Participate in application accessibility work aligned with WCAG

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a Full-stack Software Engineer
• Very good knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
• Practical experience with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
• Ability to create high-quality, performant, well-tested code
• Experience building monitoring and observability
• Very good knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Practical experience with React and its ecosystem
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and responsive web design
• Experience building applications compliant with WCAG
• Ability to effectively work with AI-supported tools such as GitHub Copilot (or similar)
• English at least B2
