Description

You will join an Agile product team to design, build, test, deploy, and monitor solutions in the Accounting domain. You will take responsibility for maintaining migrated applications and become an expert in parts of the application landscape. You will collaborate closely with a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, designers, and developers while contributing to continuous improvement and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile environment with developers, designers, business analyst, and product owner
• Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor developments in Java 8
• Adhere to continuous improvement and modernization principles
• Build expertise in specific parts of the application domain through a long-term mission
• Own the development chain end-to-end and justify architectural choices
• Support teammates through code review and pair programming
• Collaborate with developers from other teams to improve systems and processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in procedural programming (COBOL) to take over maintenance of migrated applications
• Experience with relational databases (DB2)
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java 8)
• Experience with continuous deployment tools (Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.)
• Ability to use Git for code version control
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to learn
• Ability to stay current with new technologies
• Ability to work on-site in Leudelange at least 4 days per week
