Description

You’ll build and evolve Python backend services that support a growing web portal and mobile applications. The program is focused on modernizing an existing system with microservices and cloud solutions while collaborating in self-organizing Scrum teams. Integration and delivery are performed using Microsoft Azure tooling and enterprise system connections.

Responsibilities

• Implement the backend layer for a web portal and mobile applications based on provided designs and specifications
• Collaborate with other development teams and the client’s IT department
• Own delivery within your technology scope
• Analyze bugs, implement fixes, and update code
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support integration and communication with external systems

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Python Developer
• Experience applying engineering best practices (code review, knowledge sharing) and making technical decisions
• Strong Python skills for microservices and web applications
• FastAPI and SQLAlchemy knowledge
• Pytest experience
• PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL
• Message broker experience: RabbitMQ or Kafka or Azure Service Bus
• REST/API development experience
• Docker experience
• Knowledge of design patterns and system integration topics
• Ability to use AI tools in day-to-day work
