Description

You will design, build, and evolve scalable Angular applications, taking technical ownership of frontend architecture while collaborating with a Django/Python backend. This is a technical leadership role centered on strong engineering judgment, code reviews, architectural guidance, and pragmatic solutions as product complexity grows. The team values maintainability, testing, security, and code quality, supported by AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical ownership of frontend architecture and long-term design decisions

• Build and evolve large-scale Angular applications in production

• Collaborate with backend engineering (Django/Python) on architecture and integration

• Provide technical direction through code reviews, architectural guidance, refactoring, and mentoring

• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and refactoring while preserving quality and security

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience, including extensive hands-on frontend development

• Very strong Angular (v17–v22) and TypeScript expertise

• Proven experience with modern Angular architecture (Signals, RxJS, state management, dependency injection, component architecture)

• Experience designing scalable and maintainable frontend solutions for evolving business needs

• Proven technical leadership through code reviews, refactoring initiatives, and mentoring

• Hands-on experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor)

• Strong Python development skills and experience with Django 4.x

• Experience with Django REST Framework, Django Filters, and Celery

• Unit testing experience with Pytest

• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis

• Good understanding of microservices architecture

• Cloud experience with AWS (AWS Fargate is a plus)

• CI/CD knowledge (CircleCI is a plus)

• Experience with Git and GitHub workflows

• Strong problem-solving and independent work ability

• English communication skills (B2+/C1)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
