Description

You will provide applications expertise in SAP SD/MM and SAP Logistics, working with IT functions to design, develop, and integrate solutions. Your role will support delivery of application changes (within a Kanban environment) and help enhance business processes across order-to-cash (O2C) and procure-to-pay (P2P). You will create formal design materials, communicate how business processes map to application functionality, and support service levels through applications support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide applications expertise in SAP Logistics and integration with non-SAP systems
  • Plan and manage delivery of application changes in a Kanban environment
  • Ensure enhancements in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay follow client principles and standards
  • Produce formal design materials for building new solutions
  • Communicate how business processes interrelate with application functionality during change activities
  • Establish strong working relationships with external partners and consultants
  • Support the Applications Support Manager to meet agreed service levels
  • Stay updated on external developments in SAP applications to leverage future opportunities
  • Support development of strategies, standards, policies, and procedures within your area of expertise

Requirements

  • SAP certification in an appropriate SAP module such as Materials Management or Sales and Distribution
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP O2C or P2P as a consultant
  • Deep understanding of enterprise resource planning systems
  • Proven experience delivering successful SAP technical and functional changes for a global company
  • Ability to translate business requirements into packaged solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication and negotiation
  • Track record delivering SAP applications in order-to-cash or procure-to-pay with involvement in at least three full cycle SAP projects
  • Proficiency in written English
