Description

Join a long-term hybrid project as a Manual & Automation Tester for a platform/server solution (RGS). You will define and maintain the test strategy, create and maintain automated test suites, and perform manual, regression, and non-functional testing. You will coordinate QA sign-off before each release.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the test strategy for unit, integration, system, and regression testing levels, including coverage goals, automation approach, and testing environment requirements

  • Create test plans for each release

  • Automate testing by designing, implementing, and maintaining API tests, integration tests, regression suites, and end-to-end scenarios; ensure automation runs in the CI/CD pipeline in collaboration with a DevOps engineer

  • Perform manual testing for complex scenarios, exploratory testing, and new features where automation is not yet available; validate API platform functionality and system behavior across releases

  • Maintain and execute regression test suites before each release to prevent regressions; report regressions and track their resolution

  • Design and run non-functional tests for APIs and platform services (performance, load, scalability, reliability, security) according to relevant technical standards; coordinate with DevOps on performance monitoring

  • Approve release quality (QA sign-off): confirm test criteria are met, no open critical defects remain, and regression testing succeeded

  • Report QA status for PDL RGS Server

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of SQL

  • Experience with test automation tools (preferably Playwright)

  • API testing experience including HTTP/JSON requests and authentication token handling

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps (or similar tools such as Jira or TestRail)

  • Ability to work with the command line and configure local developer tools

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and active work with Git
