Description

Work as an NP in a Level II Trauma Center supporting general surgery coverage. You will manage trauma patients from assessment through diagnosis and treatment, including required high-risk and low/moderate risk procedures. Surgical privileges are available for qualifying candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat trauma patients
• Perform high-risk procedures: chest tubes, central lines, intubation
• Perform low/moderate risk procedures: laceration repair, fracture reductions

Requirements

• ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
• Experience and comfort with high-risk procedures (chest tubes, central lines, intubation)
• Experience and comfort with low/moderate risk procedures (laceration repair, fracture reductions)
• Ability to obtain/qualify for surgical privileges
