Description

Full-stack development to maintain and develop web portals and applications that support NASA National Security Systems case management and team site workflows. You will assess software requirements, provide architectural and web development support, recommend tools/technologies, and redesign existing web/software applications to add features and improve performance and stability. You may also provide occasional on-call duty and support O&M and content management for sponsor web/software sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop websites and applications supporting case management and NSS team site workflows
• Assess and consult on the design of C#, Vue.js, JavaScript, Bootstrap, .NET Framework, .NET 10.0, SQL Server, SQL scripting, Java web tools, and Visual Studio web projects
• Provide architectural design and web development support for web application requirements
• Participate in software design discussions and recommend implementation approaches
• Redesign existing web/software applications to add features, optimize, scale, and improve stability/performance
• Provide O&M and content management support for sponsor web/software sites
• Assess and validate software requirements across the organization
• Provide occasional on-call duty as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated full-stack development experience (develop, deploy, maintain)
• Proven ability to identify and validate requirements
• Working knowledge of virtual architectures and environments
• Ability to add features and optimize, scale, and improve application and web performance and stability
• Proficiency with C#, .NET Framework, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC
• Experience with Vue.js, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SQL Server, SQL scripting, Java web tools, Git, Microsoft Visual Studio web projects, IIS, and application/server management
• U.S. citizenship required
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret preferred
