Description

You will develop and maintain backend applications in Java, design and implement new functionalities, and create and develop REST API. You will work with relational databases and ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate), develop applications using Spring / Spring Boot, write and maintain unit tests, analyze technical problems, and optimize existing solutions. You will collaborate with the project team on implementing tasks and introducing new solutions.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of backend applications in Java

• Design and implementation of new functionalities

• Creation and development of REST APIs

• Work with databases and ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate)

• Development of applications using Spring / Spring Boot

• Creation and maintenance of unit tests

• Technical problem analysis and optimization of existing solutions

• Collaboration with the project team to deliver tasks and implement new solutions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as Java Developer / Java Programmer

• Very good knowledge of Java (minimum version 8)

• Experience with JPA or other ORM technologies, e.g., Hibernate

• Practical knowledge of relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle

• Experience with dependency management and build tools such as Maven or Gradle

• Practical knowledge of REST APIs

• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks

• Knowledge of at least one unit testing library, e.g., JUnit or Mockito

• Ability to practically use the above technologies in projects and independently solve programming issues
