Description
Visa Direct is a global push payments platform enabling fast, secure fund transfers to cards, accounts, and wallets worldwide, supporting high-growth use cases including person to person payments, gig-economy and merchant payouts, insurance disbursements, and merchant settlements. The Solutions Manager leads onboarding excellence and scaling across the North America Visa Direct portfolio by designing scalable onboarding solutions and defining seamless onboarding processes and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive onboarding excellence via the Visa Direct Onboarding Center of Excellence, building standardized processes, playbooks, engagement models, and best practices.
- Own onboarding governance, support launch readiness, manage risks/issues/escalations, and ensure operational handoffs across the lifecycle.
- Measure implementation progress using onboarding KPIs, milestone tracking, launch readiness reviews, and reporting against defined service levels and quality standards.
- Improve onboarding through continuous improvement: identify bottlenecks, recommend enhancements, and leverage automation and GenAI-enabled capabilities.
- Feed Voice of Customer insights, onboarding observations, and implementation feedback into Product, Network, and Solutioning teams.
- Track onboarding pipeline, capacity, and launch readiness metrics to support prioritization and resource planning.
- Serve as a Visa Direct onboarding subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, client financial institutions, and partners.
- Contribute to solutioning activities: client discovery, solution design, and technical sales efforts.
- Operate independently with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Basic qualifications: 5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or 2+ years with an Advanced degree (Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
- Preferred: 6+ years with a Bachelors degree, or 4+ years with an Advanced degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD.
- Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or technology-driven onboarding/implementation environments; understand payment ecosystems and transaction flows.
- Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leaders.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with dependencies.
- Demonstrated use of AI, automation, and productivity tools to improve operational efficiency and onboarding/client outcomes.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; execute complex projects independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word.
- Experience with client onboarding, launch readiness, operational handoffs, and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting technical sales engagements, solution design workshops, or client discovery sessions.
- Experience with Card Networks or Real Time Money Movement.
- Experience with API-based products, payment services & solutions, platform integrations, and client onboarding workflows.
- Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, dynamic, customer-focused environments.
- 3 days in office (confirmed by hiring manager); travel 5–10%.
