Description

You will work with trading operations systems alongside operations analysts, traders, and developers to architect solutions that are intuitive, maintainable, and simplify day-to-day operational trading tasks. The role centers on building tools to automate data review and reconciliation, and architecting new systems and controls that enhance the robustness of post-trade processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and refine workflows involving multiple databases and system APIs
• Serve as the point of contact for triaging and debugging
• Act as process owner and document all use cases
• Collaborate with the trading operations team to identify solutions that automate their tasks
• Manage the balance between longer-term goals and immediate production workflows to ensure team support and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Python
• Experience with Pandas (strong plus)
• Strong working knowledge of SQL
• 2+ years of working experience preferred (talented graduates will be considered)
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to collaborate
• Ability to translate complex problems into practical working solutions
• Outstanding quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate information precisely and with agility
• “Physicalizer” attitude: identifies issues and creates solutions without rigid direction or fanfare
