Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python, FastAPI, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Build and maintain REST or GraphQL APIs, including authentication, authorization, validation, and error handling.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (data modelling, migrations, query optimization).
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code to accelerate development while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Use message queues such as RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing and background jobs.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, production issues, and performance bottlenecks; create technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Practical software development experience gained through professional work, internships, academic projects, open source, or a strong technical portfolio.
• Strong Python skills and experience with FastAPI (or a similar framework).
• Experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building back-end services with Python and/or Node.js.
• Experience designing REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Good understanding of SQL, relational databases, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and code-review workflows.
• Experience using Claude Code (or a similar AI coding agent).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL and libraries such as Strawberry, Graphene, Ariadne, or Apollo.
• Experience with Playwright (or another E2E testing framework).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, or similar messaging systems.
• Familiarity with Grafana, Sentry, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications.
• Knowledge of authentication, RBAC, API security, secrets management, and data protection.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum product environment.
