Description

You will support the system integration and engineering of the Space to Ground Segment for a SATCOM system, performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints, including functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration activities throughout the program lifecycle, identifying risks and defining mitigation strategies.

• Partner with the SEIT organization to design and deliver end to end integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical discipline, or a closely related field, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.

• Understanding of systems-integration and engineering processes.

• Familiarity with agile development process, roles, and rhythms (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
